I grew up in a small farming community where my dad was both Mayor of one town and Chief of Police of another. Mayberry? I worked the graveyard shift at a grocery store for nearly 7 grueling years during college (with very little sleep) in preparation of a career in education. This hard work along with parents and grandparents who instilled in me a strong blue collar work ethic has permanently ingrained in me a drive to work hard and be my best. I completed a BA in Social Science, two Teaching Credentials and a Masters in Education. I also studied Spanish in Mexico City. In my 11 year teaching career, I worked in the capacity of Teacher, Charter School Developer/Supervisor, Special Education Teacher, Teacher Trainer and more. I taught in private, public, charter and independent study schools. Now my wife and I home school! As a Charter School Supervisor, I helped locate, negotiate and develop 7 Charter School sites. I absolutely loved the excitement and processes involved. My interest and experience in personal investments grew and soon thereafter my family, friends and colleagues began leaning on me for advice. Over the years my interest, education and passion for real estate have continued to grow to the point of becoming a full-time career. I take great pride in being a Professional Realtor that is able to conscientiously guide others in making intelligent real estate decisions. As was the case in teaching, I truly feel like in Real Estate, I am able to make a difference in people’s lives.

     As a family, we enjoy fishing, going to parks, bike rides, going to and watching BSU Football games, attending church functions, visiting friends, utilizing the YMCA, reading and playing games as a family, skiing and occasionally camping out!  I have played golf the past 5 years in the lowest flight at Boise Ranch Golf Course in the Men’s Spring League.  Typically it is rainy and cold during this time but we have a lot of fun anyway!

     Rock Idaho, is a fairly new part of my business.  A lot of realtors have names for their businesses above and beyond the brokerage they work for.  Rock Idaho is that, but hopefully more!  After several years of being a Top Producer, I wanted to create a manageable system with high ethics and customer service that could be taught to other agents (based upon my own successes and failures) and managed as I bring on and train others.  Rock Idaho is an evolving business model and brand that I believe clients can trust and refer with confidence!
